SculpSure Q & A

How does SculpSure work?

The SculpSure laser bypasses skin cells to target and heat fat cells beneath the surface without injuring your skin or causing discomfort. As the fat cells are heated to 107-116 degrees Fahrenheit, their structural integrity is damaged.

During the three months following treatment, your lymphatic system naturally removes the damaged cells from your body. These fat cells can never regenerate or return.

Am I a candidate for SculpSure?

Because SculpSure is non-invasive and drug-free, most patients are strong candidates for the procedure. If you have stubborn fat that hasn’t been affected by diet and exercise – or was impacted but reached a plateau before you were satisfied – you’re likely an excellent candidate for the SculpSure laser treatment.

Certain factors may delay your treatment, like a BMI over 43, an open wound or skin infection in the treatment area, or pregnancy. In these cases, you may not be eligible for treatment until you meet the eligibility requirements.

What results can I expect after SculpSure?

According to the results of clinical research trials conducted on patients who received SculpSure, you can expect up to 24% reduction in fat in the treatment area per SculpSure treatment session.

Because natural body processes remove the fat cells, these results peak 12 weeks after you receive treatment. So if you’re scheduling SculpSure for a big event like a wedding or pageant, it’s essential to book your treatment at least three months before the event date.

If you need more than 24% fat reduction, you might be eligible to receive additional treatments at least 12 weeks after the first.

How much time off of work is required?

Many patients delay taking care of themselves because busy work and personal schedules don’t allow for downtime and recovery.

When you choose SculpSure to get the appearance you want, you can achieve results with no incisions, no anesthesia, and virtually no time away from work. SculpSure is an excellent solution for even the busiest men and women.
